Why do doctors routinely recommend advanced imaging (such as CT or MRI) for conditions such as concussion, migraine or vertigo? It is pertinent to rule out any ...life-threatening causes, such as a brain bleed, tumor, or tissue destruction that could be causing your symptoms. Imaging results often come back unremarkable, which ultimately is good news.
