This is a story of a new back plate. I have been procrastinating on getting this painted for too long and with the Hollywood Christmas Parade coming up and it’s... the first time the @mandalorianmercs have been invited I needed to finally get it done. My old one was when I was bigger and not formed for me, this one is formed to fit me perfectly. I am a proud member of the Mercs and the @wolvesofmandalore and with this years parade we need to show the world we are not lesser then the other clubs. When I marched in the HCP 2 years ago as Darth Nihilus with the @official501st I had a goal to have my Clone Wars Deathwatch Super Commando Sgt finished and March proudly as a Mando, but life has a way of going one better and Dingo Largo gets to march. With completely custom work you never know how much resin to use until after you do the first casting. For the wolf helmet I used the same amount of resin I use for the Phoenix and DWC helmet. Well that amount is a little on the light side and for future wolf helmets I will be using more resin. After 2 long years of planning, building and so much heartache do to set backs, I am proud to announce the Wolf Pack helmet has finally been cast. This is the... culmination of design work and fees back from retired MMCC member Ralin Voth. This isn’t a perfect casting. Due to the set back of the mold sticking to the mothershell it ripped the mold. So in places that were repairs there are some signs of damage but that gives it character. Yet it’s not out of the realm of being fixed and not too much body filler will be needed with this helmet if you want it clean. This helmet was build for my wife @red25862 and she loves it. It will be soon up on my @etsy shop once it gets its era classification from the @mandalorianmercs for approval. Now that the Mando Kenobi helmet for @wrenthejedi is finished this little beauty now being prepared to be cast in silicon as the DWC MK2. I have learned a whole lot since I first made the original mold for this helmet that this will be an excellent helmet going forward. I’m still no where near the perfection of @nmeprops but I have gotten better. After this has been cast I will continue to make this my helmet for my upcoming deathwatch kit.
