THRIVE- Trauma Healing Retreat --Integrative Visceral Experience Our next five-day retreat to help trauma survivors heal their pain is scheduled for July 11 to 16 at Nurturing Nest Health Resort in Desert Hot Springs, CA.... This intensive is an opportunity to free yourself from the shackles of the past pain, resulting from sexual, emotional, physical or combat trauma. Designed by Dr. Ramesh Gune and Dr. Sandra Gune, this program will take you to the roots of the violations that paralyzed you . Once you discover the depth of the trauma and initiate the process of healing, your recovery begins. In a safe and nurturing environment you will be able to dispel the darkness and enter into the light. This structured program offers a holistic approach to healing. Based on our trade marked "I AM "-Integrative Awareness Method- this intensive incorporates healing secrets of Yoga, meditation, psychodrama, mindfulness along with sessions of EMDR, Neuro-emotional Integration, Transformational Breathwork, Body Awareness Techniques, Deep Release Massages, group therapy and movement therapy. You will soak in the natural Mineral hot springs, join in therapeutic hikes in the nearby mountains, spend time in Joshua Tree National Park , remain in a day of silence and participate in specially designed games to reactivate the joyous child within you. The program cost is $ 2400 per person for shared accommodation, $3500 for a private room. Breakfast will be served. Part of the treatment cost may be reimbursed by your health insurance. Facilitators- Dr. Ramesh Gune' holds a doctorate in psychology and is a licensed psychotherapist in California . He is certified in advanced mind-body therapies from Harvard Medical School and is also a certified EMDR therapist. He previously worked at the world renowned Betty Ford Center, and is a consulting clinical director at Bella Monte Recovery Center besides bring in private practice. Dr. Sandra Gune is a doctor of chiropractic in private practice for the last 25 years. Her quest for healing and spirituality took her at a very young age to Krupalu Center in Massachusetts where she was a resident, learning healing modalities along with yoga and meditation. She specializes in Activator method, bio-energetic synchronization techniques, Transformational Breathing methods, and Somatic Work.
