#SEAS Earnings Chicken Play: short term strangle ($16P & $16.50C), earnings before the bell Monday.

Bought to open January 2021 $12.50 Put. #CCL Even if Carnival and Princess are Covid ready to cruise, I foresee many of their foreign cruise ports of call to either not allow passengers off, or even to dock the ship in a port. Even Hawaii has said cruisers must spend 14 days in quarantine. I do not think CCL resumes normal operations until late 2021 into 2022. The two companies I am buying puts on because I believe they may have no other choices left than bankruptcy are SEAS & CCL. Comments welcome. I prefer the puts to shorting because: 1) in the case of CCL, I am a share holder; 2) in SEAS case, if I am wrong, I only lose my option premium; if I were to short, I could lose much more if SEAS shoots up on an earnings surprise.

Opening a position by buying Jan 2021 $15 Put in liu of a short. #SEAS at a crucial price level, and I do not see how it goes up from here given the current circumstances. Comments welcome.

copper at 2.92/pound - ~145 pennies in a pound; copper in the penny has more intrinsic value than face value of the penny.
