Dolphin Charters 08.11.2020

The travelers on this Dolphin Charters cruise convened on the boat in Wrangell after a rainy but beautiful jet boat ride up the Stikine River (courtesy of Breakaway Adventures). Then rainbows, eagles, bears, ice, orcas, whales and much more filled the next 9 days of this adventure. Oh, did I mention ORCAS? Just added some (10 or so) photos by Tom Johnson on this same trip (the last ones in this album-some great stuff!)

This trip from Juneau to Wrangell started off fine and sunny. The group headed towards Holcomb Bay and Endicott Arm and so the adventure began. Bears and eagles played stellar roles in this collection of photographs from the 9 day trip as you will see.

The group arrived in Hoonah bright and early July 21 2015 for a morning sunshine departure and travels around Southeast. Enjoy the images of the trip!

The group left Juneau July 2 in rain and wind but things cleared up and got ever so much better as these photos will prove. What a trip! Just added about 10 images from Pam and Fred Hummelscheim and they are wonderful

Delphinus, crew, photo leaders, and guests left the dock in Hoonah on Monday July 13 for the start of another Glacier Bay adventure. Marine wildlife is seen right away -the group stops in Bartlett Cove (the Park entrance) for orientation and the photos tell the rest of the adventure story.

Lots of rain in Southeast AK ended (for a couple of days anyway) at the start of this photo trip from Wrangell to Juneau. Exploring the town the day before, the first morning started with a jetbboat trip up the Stikine River (spectacular ice and the river was roaring). Next stop was Anan Creek (also very full of water) and bear viewing with the whales and glaciers part over the succeeding days. Soon to come were more adventures, wildlife, rain, and spectacular scenery. See what they saw! Photos by Betty Sederquist, Jim Gamble, Ryan O'Keven, John Kipping.
