Job description: Assistant to the salon We are a high volume and highly regarded grooming salon looking for a self-starting individual that can bring energy and organization to our team. Must be willing to learn and be able to adapt to new and fast paced environments. Description of Duties:... -Light clerical work such as filing, typing, organizing front desk area -Receptionist work such as answering phones, booking appointments, checking in/out pets, reminder calls, taking payments -Bathing, drying and prepping pets for the groomers (as needed) -Updating business social media -Opening/closing cleaning and sanitation -Paying bills for the business -End of day/week accounting -Keeping inventory and reordering of supplies -Running errands for business Requirements: -At least one year experience working with animals in a facility (grooming salon, boarding/daycare facility, vet clinic, etc) -Experience in customer service necessary Please send your resume to [email protected] **DO NOT send us your information via social media! We've been getting a lot of phone calls about booking appointments because the mayor of Los Angeles announced the city is allowed to open for grooming. It's a little more complicated than that! The City of Los Angeles is allowed to have grooming salons open following county safety guidelines. Unfortunately we are not located in the City of Los Angeles so we still need to wait for the county to give us the go ahead. We're hoping it's soon! We understand this is confusing and frustrating and we can assure you we're doing our absolute best! Please be patient with us! It's greatly appreciated

First, thank you so much to everyone for your patience and understanding through all of this! It's greatly appreciated! While the state has allowed grooming salons to reopen, it is still up to the county and the city to adopt these new guidelines. As much as we'd like to open our doors and welcome everyone back, it is much more complicated than that. Since we have already been shut down once due to a complaint filed with Monrovia PD we have to proceed with extreme cautio...n. We will be contacting everyone to reschedule appointments as soon as possible. Please be patient with us! We have 7 weeks of appointments to catch up on and we are currently only working with a staff of 2-3 people. Due to our decreased staff and new guidelines, we are only able to accommodate a small number of appointments a day. Again, please be patient with us! We are doing our best! As we mentioned, we will be operating under very strict guidelines which will be emailed to you prior to your appointment. We cannot make any exceptions to these rules! Because of these new guidelines, we are unable to accept any walk in services (services without a bath) at this time. We also will not be accepting new clients until we catch up with our existing appointments. In addition, in order to help us accommodate as many clients as we can, we will not be scheduling reoccurring appointments that are less than 3 weeks out (meaning we will not be able to accommodate weekly or bi-weekly appointments) for the time being. Due to the governor's orders we have temporarily closed. Our expected re-opening date is April 30th however we are doing our best to open as soon as possible! Once we are able to open we will be at our new location! The address here has been updated and we're only 5 doors down so it will be easy to find us. Just a reminder that the upcoming 4th of July holiday can be THE MOST stressful for a lot of pets! The days aftwerward are among the busiest and most overwhelming for shelters and rescues! Please make sure to take the proper precautions to ensure that your pet is safe and happy at home with you!
