Dear Students at Del Norte Unified School District, Merry Christmas! Allow me to introduce myself to you. I am Sugarplum Mary, one of Santa’s most trusted elves... here at the North Pole. In fact, I have one of the best jobs in Santa’s Village. I am the elf in charge of Santa’s Sweet Treats Division, and I am the personal assistant to Mrs. Claus. I work with Mrs. Claus every day making all types of Christmas cookies, candies and special treats for Santa, and for the reindeer and all the elves who work so hard in Santa’s North Pole village. Christmas is a wonderful time of year, and this year we begin the holiday season with a book reading from our very own Mrs. Claus.
