: Thank your guests on the mic! One thing I always suggest to couples I work with is to do a quick thank on the mic at some point. It's a great way to acknowledge your guests (especially those who have travelled far) and anyone who has helped make the wedding happen (coordinator, bridal party, parents with their $$$ )... The thank you speech can be done at a few different points of the night depending on your preference; 1. Immediately after the first dance (before dinner) 2. At the end of speeches/toasts 3. At cake table right before the cake cutting.
