Looking for Help with a New Investigative Technique: For a few years when I worked for the dark side (the cops) I ran a fake child prostitution ring on the Internet. With the help of many dedicated deputies we conducted 54 successful cases for 2 years, where people met with us and paid money to molest children. I am proud to say that we had a 100% conviction rate, and investigated several hundred other cases relating to the distribution of child pornography over the Internet.... I was thinking that among other things, I pretended to be a 12 year old girl on the Internet. That disturbing fact having been said, I bet that I could be a 28 year old aerobics instructor too. I am developing an Internet based investigation technique and would like to try my idea in a real life situation. Attorney Frances Prizzia won a big case today: A 1538.5 motion was granted today in Riverside Superior Court. Drug paraphernalia, scales, methamphetamine and pounds of marijuana was excluded. The evidence was suppressed, and the case was dismissed.... Investigator Charleton DeArman worked tirelessly on this case. Senate Bill 255 was signed into law today. The section reads in part: PC647 (4) (A) Any person who photographs or records by any means the image of the intimate body part or parts of another identifiable person, under circumstances where the parties agree or understand that the image shall remain private, and the person subsequently distributes the image taken, with the intent to cause serious emotional distress, and the depicted person suffers serious emotional distress.... Closer examination of the statute reveals that in order to charge a person for a violation of this law, they must take the photo or make the recording. "YourTango: Sexting may be more popular than anyone ever realized. According to a new survey by YourTango, 43 percent of respondents admit they've sexted a partner and around 33 percent have sent nude pics via their cellphones." If you send the photo yourself, commonly referred to as a "Selfie" you may have no recourse. Something to think about.

I have confirmed that an arrest has been made of the alleged Riverside serial rapist. I assume that his name has not been made public because the authorities are waiting for the results of further DNA/biological testing.
