Not surprised at all. California already prohibits "bump stocks" and California's Feinstein is leading the charge to ban them everywhere else. http://abcnews.go.com//sen-feinstein-introducing-bi/story Aside from the legal consequences of trying to ban a product that has been on the market for years, banning "bump stocks" will not prevent someone from bump firing their firearm. ... "Bump stocks" are not necessary to be able to bump fire a firearm. Simple manipulation of how you hold a firearm (not just rifles) will allow the user to bump fire. Passing laws without critical thought will not help anyone.
