UPHS Mock Trial: On the The Road to Virtual State Finals in Virtual Los Angeles. Greetings Mock Trial Fans, we’ll cut to the chase! UPHS BEAT REDWOOD in a VERY close call. Our prosecution team took 50.31% of the points awarded by scorekeepers Erin Brooks (Tulare County Public Defender), Tim Ward (Tulare County District Attorney), and Jennifer Flores (Tulare County Counsel). Both teams were very closely matched in their abilities, arguments, character development, and delivery. State finals are March 19-21, again conducted via Zoom. One of our journalists, Kari Pendegraft, was also selected for the state finals.
