Going through some old photos sent by a friend. My other life before Real Estate. My late husband and Prince Phillip preparing for the final day of the 1984 Equestrian Olympics in So. CA at Santa Anita racetrack. My husband was the driver/trainer of these magnificent Budweiser Clydesdales. Seen here pulling the podium used to present the medals after each event.. Prince Phillip, an avid horseman & driver in England, had never driven heavy horses before and requested to be able to participate in the last day's activities. There were 80 thousand people in attendance that day, and the crowd went wild seeing Prince Phillip come into the arena driving the hitch. It was thrilling!.
