Diamond Bar Dental Studio is proud to highlight the gifts and talents of our patients again this week! Meet our patient Kelly Roddy. Kelly has always been creative and crafty but her new baking adventure, The Heart of Kelly’s Kitchen, she launched while observing the LA County Safer at Home order combines her two loves: baking and arts and crafts. Kelly was studying Mt. SAC, enrolled in the Culinary Arts Program when the COVID19 Pandemic forced all classes online and she ...continues to work on the third and final certificate to complete the program. As you can see, her baking projects are beautiful and delicious! They are almost too pretty to eat- who are we kidding? We at Diamond Bar Dental Studio offered early on in the project to taste test whenever she needed! Congratulations, Kelly! Wonder what Diamond Bar Dental Studio is doing while we are limited to emergency treatment only? We are preparing our office for YOUR return! Today we installed IQ Air systems throughout the office. These filtration systems are the same medical grade machines used in hospitals for SARS/MERS/H1N1/COVID19 patients. The IQ Air system filters 0.3 micron particles at 99.9% efficiency and 0.003 micron particles at 99.5% efficiency per 1500 square feet. Corona virus particles mea...sure from 0.06 to 0.14 microns so we are confident patients and staff are protected! Between the high speed suction we’ve always used and the IQ Air System, we will control airborne pathogens at the source: chair side during all dental procedures. The safety of our patients and staff is our #1 priority because we care! We can’t wait to see you all again!

Update: For the 4th straight week, we remain closed except for emergency dental services. As of April 7th, the State of California finally released a directive for all dental practices to cease providing non-urgent procedures. We are proud to say we were the first to take proactive, voluntary measures to protect our patients, staff, and our families, closing the office for routine procedures, weeks before the state-wide mandate was released.... An update came from the American Dental Association, recommending that the offices remain closed at least until April 30th except for emergency services. We believe that during this time, dental practices have a critical role in keeping the dental emergencies out of the overloaded urgent care and emergency rooms while preventing the spread of the disease. Just as before, we remain available to treat dental emergencies for our patients. Pain does not take a break and neither will we in our efforts to assist our patients in need. We miss our patients. We can't wait to see all of you back here safe and sound.
