Last year, we rescued Archie from a high kill shelter. Archie is a large breed dog who had a lot of mischievous energy. He's a great dog, but was overlooked at the shelter. Archie needed a home to decompress from the shelter and a few refreshers on how to behave inside a home. We saw Archie's potential and rescued him just in the nick of time! We got this lovely email from Archie's family who love him and cannot imagine life without him! We love seeing our rescue dogs happy i...n their new lives! "It's our Archiversary!! . One year since this sweet pup came home. Archie is now 2 1/2 years old and a 90lb bundle of love. Archie has come such a long way. He enjoys his hour long walks every day and another walk in the evening, having doggie BFFs, going to the dog park with his pack, finding a pet sitter he loves (Archie was not made for doggie daycare), going to Grandma and Grandpa’s house to go swimming and taking naps on any couch or bed he comes across. He is also continuing to work on greeting people calmly that come over (something that was not practiced often during the pandemic) and remaining calm on the leash when he passes another pup, but it has to be noted that he has made astounding progress. Archie is a sunshine dog and loves relaxing in his front yard (now gated just for him), deck, side yard, and anywhere he wants to be in the house that has sunshine or a cozy pillow. He also loves playing his puzzle games and his toys, working on his training, playing with his favorite girls and working in the garage with his dad. Thank you for getting him ready for us. We love him so much and cannot imagine our lives without him." RESCUED TODAY! Tulip is a sweet little senior girl rescued from a high kill shelter. She will see our vet later this week. For now, Tulip is settling in with her foster. She is very loving, well behaved and gets along well with other dogs. Tulip is looking for a forever home in the Los Angeles area. Happy Thanksgiving! We are so grateful to all of our wonderful volunteers, foster parents and supporters! It has been a stressful and challenging year for everyone, and we are thankful for all the exceptional people who work hard to make a difference.
