CLOSED Most people post about how fast they sold a home or how fast they got their buyers into a home. This transaction was by far one of the most challenging because of the timeframe in which it took place.... I have to give Crimson and Matt a salute for sticking with me throughout this home search. Many people would have gotten fed up, canceled their home search, and/or looked for an answer somewhere else. Matt and Crimson have been preparing for home ownership these last 24 months. Our relationship started with an online phone call meeting about a house in Valley Center 2 years ago, and being a distance out from actually qualifying for a home loan. However, they knew that homeownership was something that they must have in the near future. We sat down and went over a long-term plan on how to accomplish home ownership in a relatively short amount of time. 2 years for most people is not a short amount of time but 2 years in the grand scheme of your life when it comes to homeownership is. They were diligently to enhance their financial literacy, minimize their debts, and pay off some liabilities. We started our home search with a down payment assistance program, however due to current market conditions we were not able to get any offers accepted utilizing that loan product. But they maintained resiliency and kept working hard, paying off their debt while we kept seeing homes and submitting offers and before you know it they were able to climb themselves into a completely different financial picture/position. Sometimes timing is everything and you think you lost out on something when in reality life had a different plan that plays out perfectly. The home we closed on not satisfies all their wants and needs, but as well as provides them financial security by keeping their monthly payment exactly where they wanted it. Thank you Matt and Crimson for allowing me to be your guide throughout this process. It was amazing that we were able to secure your home prior to Christmas and get you settled in before the arrival of your first born. HUGE shout-out to @ocdhomeinspections for being the man for the job. Your constant thoroughness on these inspections is what sets you apart for myself and my clients. When a house is this grand there is plenty of opportunities for missed nooks and crannies, but not with Keith ... This was our second inspection just prior to close in order to make sure things had been repaired/replaced as asked during our initial inspection, however that was not the case. After discussing things with the selling agent we devised a game plan to fix the issues within the week and that's exactly what happened! We just closed on this property January 5th! Saw this quote and though this couldn't be more true. After watching my parents go through the real estate crash of 2008. I got into this industry to help others not experience what most families suffered from in '08.
