I forgot to take a before but can we appreciate the after of this curly haircut

I love big transformations. It’s important to fill the hair with pigment if you’re going over 4 levels darker. This prevents it from looking inky or muddy. You can see the health of her hair gradually got better as pigment was added. My goal was to not only match the color of her hair with the extensions, but I wanted the texture to match also. I used red kicker from @redken shades and water to fill her hair. Little decisions like this make a big difference in how the color will come out. I used 1-0 from @pulpriothair for the black. It’s so healthy and shiny now. I used tape extensions for the finished result

This is the same person. Posting more photos and explaining how it’s very important when going dark and not just throw black on top of blonde hair. Stay tuned.
