This morning we had the these outstanding 7th to 9th grade students visit Design Octaves for a tour. They are participating in a summer engineering program at Cabrillo College. They asked a lot of great questions. It was nice to see such a nice bunch of sharp and polite future engineers!!

Come see their presentation! : How to Dress Your Robot The Design Octaves presentation will explore utilizing the Design Octaves RIM (reaction injection molding) process to provide cosmetic covers for robots and instruments. The presentation will provide examples of recent projects as well as part design criteria and finish options. The complete Design Octaves process overview will be presented including initial CAD review, tooling, molding, finishing and decorating. Sample enclosure parts will be on hand for audience review.
