Happy birthday to the DA’s most talented hard enduro rider Shane Reed! Yesterday for his birthday he rode, mostly one handed as he’s got a tender wing, and he schooled 8 of us on his favorite pastime, riding rocks. Shane has been sweeping and riding the Monster Energy Rip to Cabo for about a decade and is always spot on and there to help. ... I did have to pull some cactus out of him one time so he’s not perfect! Yesterday he got to roost rocks with his son Jack which I caught them in a father son moment hanging out....Jack you owe me some cookies! Ha ha Happy birthday Yellow Topper Shane! PAB

The uncertainty of a new discipline and really a whole new sport can also be unerving but thrilling. For sure it's not for everyone and takes a lot of effort and learning. In the importal words of "Pistol" Pete..... I feel it, I feel the fun of being a "Rock Donkey". ... Who would have thought an invitation to race with Brad Lovell courtesy of head Rock Donkey Dave Cole back in like 2008 and then a decade of announcing KIng of the Hammers would have led to this. For the second year we have been training full on and with the greatest respect to all Rock Racers we have again entered 5 classes at Ultra4 Racing #KOH event. Last year we went 0 for 5 but that's behind us now. Training with Cody Waggoner and Wayne Israelsen is an honor and an education. It's amazing what these vehicles do and even more impressinve learning how to do it the right way.
