JT Parnell MS, Director of Service Operations for Boretti, Inc. provided Heat Illness Awareness training to 23 members of the Central California Builders Exchan...ge during the Safety Breakfast held every other month at the CCBE in Fresno, CA. Sponsored by Der Manouel Insurance Group (DMIG), the training provided information to employers and employees in preparation for the upcoming hot summer months. Training covered current Cal/OSHA Heat Illness Prevention Requirements in addition to standards proposed with Senate Bill 1157 for the proposed Indoor Heat Regulation standard that was introduced to minimize heat-related illness and injury among workers working in indoor places of employment.
