Anthony DeMaria and DeMaria Law Firm successfully opposed a request for a temporary restraining order by a junior college coach, who sought to have the court order the school to reinstate him to coaching duties. The hearing took place on shortened time in Fresno County Superior Court, with the ruling in favor of DeMaria Law Firm’s client, the junior college district.

DeMaria Law Firm defended a Fresno County school district in a lawsuit filed against both the district and one of its employees for an alleged injury involving a school bus door. The school district refused to pay any money in the case. DeMaria Law Firm, through the representation of Anthony DeMaria, was able to obtain a full dismissal of the complaint without any payment at all by the school district. This was a complete win for DeMaria Law Firm’s public school district client.

We are pleased to welcome Nicole Tucker to DeMaria Law Firm. Nicole worked for Mr. DeMaria previously and started at DeMaria Law Firm in March. Nicole will work primarily on school and education cases.
