As we move into the busy winter season, I wanted to take an opportunity to address the dryer usage at Boulevard Laundry. We are happy to be able to offer free dry in Del Paso, but there are things to consider when using. Free dry does not mean freely use however one wishes. ... Part of the attendants job is to make sure wash customers have an opportunity to use free dryers...properly. Proper use includes: only customers currently washing their clothes may use these dryers; And One washer equals one dryer. Three 12-minute cycles of dry should be more than enough for most loads. If items are washed together, they can absolutely be dried together. If one has specific needs for items, we offer the pay dryers which one may use however one wishes. We have a good percentage of wash customers split their wash load among several dryers thinking they will dry faster. This is not the case. These new dryers stay hot by weight/volume of content. Having a couple items in a dryer is an expensive waste of energy and also takes up free dryer space for other deserving customers. Please be courteous to your fellow customers. Attendants helping direct dryer traffic is part of the way we work toward customer satisfaction for all. Please be kind to our attendants. They work hard to make sure this wash house is a lovely place for all.
