Jesse Powell, winner of The Irvine Museum Collection at the University of California, Irvine Award for Best Landscape at The California Art Club’s 108th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition. Jesse is a rare breed- he’s an incredible painter, with both sides of his family long entrenched in the art world. Jesse’s father, John Powell (www.johnpowellfineart.com), has been an artist by profession his entire working life and John’s father was a Cali...fornia Landscape painter as well. In addition to his incredible, innate talent that garnered attention from his very get-go, Jesse’s knowledge of art and his unparalleled dedication to painting (We mean that!) makes him so very deserving of this award.
