Preparing fields for next year. This tractor is mixing in gypsum, a soil amendment, while reshaping beds for organic melons in 2021. The gypsum helps keep the soil healthy, helps manage salts, and improves soil tilth for better water penetration and retention. This helps make the soil a better growing medium for crops.

It gives us great pleasure to give turkeys to our valued employees. We’re thankful to work together for another year. Thank you Maria Gloria for continuing the tradition.

Del Bosque Farms is extremely grateful for N95 masks donated to us from the Fresno County Ag Commissioner through the Fresno County Farm Bureau. These masks will protect our teams from Covid-19 and from poor air quality due to smoke from wildfires.

The 2020 CLYLP Comcast Fellows were treated to a fresh taste of Central Valley agriculture Saturday morning, as renown CA farmer Joe L Del Bosque literally tran...sported the Fellows on a virtual, cell phone tour of his valley fields, showing his cantaloupe and almonds ready for harvest, and explained how he is protecting his farm workers during this COVID pandemic, while also providing fresh produce across the country.
