Decked Out Geckos

So many nice hues coming out of this one

People have been asking what GG, GGG, and Blood mean when I refer to the lineages of my Tangerines. So I thought I’d lay it out in a post (well the condensed version at least ). I also included a few examples of crosses of these lines. GG is short for Gecko Genetics. This line of Tangerine stems from thebestgeckos.com which was operated by Jason Haygood. The line incorporates bit of Electric (from HISS) tangerine that he crossed into some other lines, which he then crossed ...to a Tangerine Tornando (from TUG). After this combo he line bred the best of the best from these pairings to develop the Gecko Genetics tangs. GGG is short for the Golden Gate Geckos line which originated from Golden Gate Geckos Sunglows. Marcia McGuiness over at Golden Gate Geckos started linebred Super Hypo Tangerine Trempers over many years to create the GGG Sunglows. Now as for Bloods, they originate from JMG Reptile. They’re selectively breed since the mid 2000s for a deep orange and a hypo look. Note that many of the Tangerine out on the market that are listed as Bloods are not true Bloods that originate from the original line.
