Tonight, Friday July 10th, we will be holding a lantern release for Mikey Collins. The release will be at the Calvary Church of the Nazarene. The lantern release will take place at dark, please be there around 9:00 so we have time to distribute supplies. We have roughly 100 lanterns. We are asking people get into groups so we have enough lanterns for everyone that comes. Please bring a lighter and if you would like to write a message on your lantern, bring a marker. Please feel free to share and spread the word

It was an honor to sponsor and play in the second annual California High School Football Golf outing. The First Down Club does an excellent job supporting these young men! Job well done!!!

Our office will be opening to walk in traffic effective Monday, June 22. Until then, we will continue to be here to service all of your needs. Upon coming into the office masks will be required for all customers and employees until further notice. We have a lot of elderly clients, as well as those with compromised immune systems. First and Foremost, I hope you and your families are doing well and remain healthy during this crisis. As you are aware, Governor Wolf moved Washington County to the "Yellow Phase." This has let some much needed small businesses re-open their doors in a limited capacity. However, it has been strongly recommended that businesses which can operate remotely, or work from home, continue to do so. We here at the Dax Thomas State Farm Agency will continue to be here for you, our... clients! While we miss seeing you all in person, we do have the capability to handle all things remotely. We can take payments over the phone, write new policies for Home, Auto and Life, and service all of your needs via the phone, internet and email. That being said, and with extreme caution in mind, I have made the decision to continue to operate under our current system. Betty, Theresa and myself will continue to be in the office daily to make sure all of your needs are being met. This decision has been made with the safety of our clients and my employees in mind. We not only want to be here for you now, but in the future as well! We hope to open our doors soon. Finally, as you are aware from the State Farm commercials, we are returning $2 Billion dollars to our customers through the Good Neighbor Relief Program. You should start seeing these dividends hit your monthly bill in June or July depending on your due date. I would like to personally thank everybody who came out to support the Ryan family last week! It is amazing to live and work in a community with such loving and caring individuals. To see people come together in a time of tragedy to help others is amazing. May God continue to bless the Ryan family as they cope with the loss of their family member.
