Welcoming the Unwelcome Rescheduled as Online Class We are pleased to announce that we will be offering the recently postponed class based on Ani Pema Chodron’s new book Welcoming the Unwelcome: Whole Hearted Living in a Broken Hearted World as an online class starting Thursday, March 26 at 7:00 pm. Together we will read and discuss Ani Pema’s sage advice for finding common ground, even when we disagree, so we can build a stronger and broader sense of community. We recomme...nd that you read the book and come prepared to share your thoughts and questions. This online class is a new, and exciting undertaking for the Davis Shambhala Center and we hope that you will join us in this new endeavor. If you would like to participate in the online class, please register on the DSC website. Once you are registered we will send you the necessary link and instructions on how to join in on Zoom. There will also be technical assistance available to help you with any challenges getting online. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak in our region all in-person gatherings at DSMC are cancelled. There will be no in-person meditation practice including Sundays and weekday mornings, no classes, retreats, discussion or other group gatherings through the end of March. Check our website though because there is lots of virtual events happening.
