The sunset was beautiful and I really liked it framed with the palm trees. If you Visit San Diego, this is one of the top free 101 Things To Do San Diego. ... If you haven't done it before, the Flagship Cruises & Events Ferry takes you from over by the San Diego County Administration Center, across the Port of San Diego and over to Coronado Island for under $5 each way. Once in Coronado, California, there's shopping at places like La Camisa and the Hotel del Coronado, there's tons of restaurants and fine dining, they have entertainment on some days and you can easily rent a bike from Bikes & Beyond to help you see it all. "Sunset Cliffs" | Fine Art Landscape Photography www.LandscapePhotographyFineArt.com This photo was captured 45 minutes after the sun had set! I was literally, standing there in the dark, with my flashlight, on the edge of a cliff... ecstatic at what I was seeing on the back side of my camera! ... Lost my footing briefly as I climbed back up in the dark using a flashlight. Got the blood pumping for sure. Those cliffs can be tricky and are probably not safe after huge rains like we've had lately... and this thought kept running through my head as I was out there. Be careful out there This particular image was a blend of three different images exposed individually for the differing light in those specific area. The sky was obviously the brightest. But the top of the cliffs was also slightly brighter than the rocks below... as well as the water. The exposures were each 30 seconds long, so the pink clouds above would move through the frame while the aperture was open... allowing for the cool blurred effect in the photo.
