Take our teeth, for instance: a gateway to nutrition, a sign of emotion, a signal of overall good health. Our natural teeth are worth saving. And no one is better equipped to do that than an endodontist!

Your cloth face covering should: Reach above the nose, below the chin, and completely cover the mouth and nostrils Fit snugly against the sides of the face... Be made of multiple layers of fabric that you can still breathe through Be able to be laundered and machine dried without damaging the material or shape Do not buy surgical masks to use as a face covering. Those are intended for healthcare workers and first responders. Many items you may already have in your home can be used to create face coverings. Try creating a cloth face covering using bandanas, ski masks, washable napkins, or dish towels.

CHICAGO, March 30, 2020 With hospitals and emergency rooms overloaded, endodontist offices remain open for dental emergencies for those suffering from extreme tooth pain or other oral health related emergencies such as those that might require root canal treatment. During the constantly evolving COVID-19 pandemic, hospitals and emergency rooms are experiencing extreme surges of patients seeking urgent care, leading to longer wait times for patients in need, shortages of medicine and equipment and clinician and staff overload. To help reduce the number of ER and Urgent Care admitted patients, it's important that patients contact an endodontist office first for all dental-related emergencies. If you are experiencing severe dental pain, dental infection symptoms (e.g. bleeding, swelling) or a dental infection-related pain, please contact us- the endodontist immediately. Endodontists are tooth pain and root canal treatment specialists trained in diagnosing and treating tooth pain. They consider their role during this crisis to alleviate tooth pain, manage oral infections and reduce the need for patients to seek emergency dental care at ERs and Urgent Care facilities. ~We are here for patient's with dental pain and infections. In compliance with Federal, State and County Health Agencies, along with guidelines from the American Dental Association, The California Dental Association, and the California Association, and the AAE (American Association of Endodontics) we are rescheduling all non-urgent appointments, but will remain open and available for emergencies. We are still able to communicate with our Referring Doctors and patients who have Dental Emergencies that need to be treated right away. E...xamples of an emergency includes dental pain, active infections that cannot be calmed with antibiotics and pain management, and infections that, if left untreated, could jeopardize a patient’s overall health. We continue to follow and enforce all OSHA safety protocols, and are vigilant with sterilization techniques to keep our patients, and our team healthy. We are always here to serve you! Lisa SH via Google Reviews: On these reviews I know your thinking what makes you an authority but think by the 7th root canal I’m kind of an expert and want to share that I’ve had the post Pleasant experiences of my life with Dr Dobin and now Dr Penn as well. I’ve had so many problems in the past with loss of the tooth from botched root canals... yes 3 teeth lost ... because of bad root canals and missed roots. The last 2 I’ve had are from this team and they are wonderful. Th...ey fit me in the day of... the day I was in agony, both times they got me right in. I’ve been so leery due to the bad experiences that I wait too long and then it’s an emergency. This last root canal done by Dr Penn I went in before I was in agony . It’s the next day and I have zero pain ... not even the site is sore! These people and the entire staff are amazing . I would give 10 stars if I could. See more
