A little something to keep us occupied and working together during the pandemic. My friend James Peters had a great idea for us to stay connected. Let's 'crowd source' a form. Around campfires, people will tell a communal story. Someone will start the story, and then the next person will take over. Let's do that with a form. Here are the first two steps of that form. Take what I've done, add one or two steps of your own. Film what you have and post it here so we can continue ...working together. Let's see how far we can take this form, and if it is something we can learn together. Let's build a solo drill together. Add one or two step onto what is here, film it and upload it.

One of my favorite parts of the solstice feast is celebrating the people that have worked hard and moved from one rank to the next rank within our school. None of these ranks are given away, and people have to work very hard to get them. Ultimately, rank means nothing other than a way to track one's own progress. Today I got to join Phoenix of Phoenix's Curiosity Cabinet for classes. They run hands-on science, history, and maker classes for students of all ages. Today the kids were learning how to make maille, and then I got to talk to the kids about different kinds of armor and swords. Then Phoenix and I demonstrated how some of these swords were used.
