Uninsured motorist wasn't always an available coverage option. In 1957, Farmers co-founder Thomas Leavey had the idea to offer uninsured motorist liability coverage for those struck by an uninsured driver. Call me to double-check your automobile coverage.

We're temporarily pausing policy cancellations due to non-payment, from now until May 1, 2020. We will also waive any late fees. This means that without any action required from customers, they now have until May 1 to make any payment due on Farmers-branded Auto, Home, Umbrella, or Specialty policy. I have some good news for auto customers. Farmers is reducing your auto premiums by 25% for the month of April. It's automatic, there's no need to enroll or call. Details to come soon.
