Using a quartz nozzle by Weldtec. It allows for great visibility. We have found this nozzle and gas lens from Weldtec works extremely well together. The aluminum part was welded using this torch combo. Have a great weekend!

Boeing continues getting orders.

Here is our orbital welder at work today and what the weld looked like on a half inch tube. A great way to weld tubes that get x-ray, penetrant and pressure tested!

We concluded our 3 day audit for our Nadcap accreditation and we were granted another 2 year extension from this October. So we are thrilled! Have an awesome day!

DCWi welds on parts that go on the 787. It seems Boeing has an interesting problem.

This is showing the steps in orbital welding a tube. This process is our most recent approval for Boeing welding this per Boeing's BAC 5974 specification.

Boeing beat out Airbus in orders this year. It looks like this was a very good year for orders for both companies.
