When prophesying, you are getting a Holy Spirit download. You are giving a person part of the Father’s heart for them. After receiving the download, ask questions to Holy Spirit. What does that mean? What does He want to say about the word or vision? What about that word or vision is significant? You would be surprised how often people only follow this through half-way. When you are operating in the prophetic and God gives you a prophetic song to sing, do not speak it out; sing it! There is power in your sound and when you sing. Even if you feel like your voice isn’t good enough, follow through with it. There is power in your obedience. God knows what He is doing. God loves communicating. He is so dedicated in pursuing us, that He made sure we had many ways to encounter Him and understand what He wants to say to us or to others. When you cannot hear what He is saying, what do you do? Is there a smell in the air? What object is highlighted to you in that moment? What do you feel like God has to say about those things? He speaks to us using all of our senses; with taste, what we touch, what we smell, what we see, and what we hear.
