Hey Leaguers! We hope you are all safe and well and staying positive on this social distancing adventure. We miss you all and can't wait to be back dancing with you as soon as we are cleared to safely get back to usual operations. We've created and shot some fun combos so we can still dance with you and bring some extra fun and cheer while we're all at home! Dear Leaguers, During the weekend we have received more information regarding restrictions in travel and social gatherings due to COVID-19. LA City and other cities across the US have imposed new restrictions as of today. As a result, Dance League Long Beach will not be held March 20-22. We are currently working to postpone this event to a later date. We will keep you updated with news regarding the new date as soon as we have more information. We are also looking at allowing... Long Beach dancers to attend our Lake Tahoe event in April as an alternative. If you need to cancel your hotel reservations, please contact the Long Beach Renaissance Hotel directly at (562) 437-5900. We do not know how long these restrictions will be imposed, so look for updates on Lake Tahoe as well. At this point, DL Lake Tahoe is NOT cancelled. Regarding refunds: All fees paid will be credited to the new event date or for an event during our 2021 season if your studio has conflicts with the postponed date. We are working with our financial institutions, hotel partners and contractors to mitigate our contractual obligations. We are currently in discussions about how to deal with the financial fallout we will be enduring and will notify you once we have more information regarding this matter. As we all know too well, new information is coming in hour by hour so be sure to check back here regularly for updates. DL Long Beach is a GO! ______________________________________ In light of Governor Newsom's recent State of Emergency address, we wanted to issue an official statement about DL Long Beach. One of the foundations of our mission at Dance League is to maintain smaller class sizes for the sake of each dancer having the proper space to dance and learn. That being said, Dance League Long Beach has a registration cap of 250 people (including dancers, teachers, and observers) and thu...s does NOT fall under the umbrella of the government mandated events requiring postponing/cancellation. We currently have closed further registration but do have people still interested in attending Please email [email protected] as soon as possible if you will not be attending so that we may offer your registered spot to another dancer. All attendees who do not wish to attend will be issued a credit in the amount of all paid fees toward Dance League 2021! We recommend everyone keeps up precautionary measures of regularly washing hands, covering mouth and nose when coughing/sneezing, and staying home if not feeling well. This will allow all who attend DL Long Beach to have a safe and enjoyable time sharing our love of dance! We can't wait to dance with you! Sincerely, Dance League
