Our Fall Dance Festival 2020 will conclude with the work of our esteemed faculty member, Rebecca Lemme (she/her) @actsofmatter! IN/SPACE/S is an investigation and celebration of the mundane. It is an opportunity to explore the potential of that which is often overlooked or dismissed. It is a testament to the resiliency of the performers who find newness in the familiar. CSULB Dance presents: Fall Dance Festival 2020, our very first virtual dance concert! Program B will be l...ive-streamed via YouTube on November 20, beginning at 7 PM (PST). Please join us for viewing at www.youtube.com/csulbdance. Program A, consisting of different works, is now available for complete viewing and listening on our YouTube page. We would like to introduce our next choreographer featured in Program B of the Fall Dance Festival, Jose Argueta @jeargueta ! Severance features the idea of distance is both an abstract and concrete thought. Distance, in our current world, is an everyday reality. Whether it’s the mental isolation of being alone, or the physical distancing we’re forced to abide by to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe. Many times we find ourselves at arm’s length from people, physically ...and mentally, hoping to find a connection that we cannot fully develop.
