Dance With Liza

I am happy to be teaching in person private dance lessons again. I'm adhering to safety guidelines as best as possible, like both parties wearing masks and hand washing or sanitizing before and after the lesson. Distance is a challenge with social dance, though, but if a student prefers, we can socially distance throughout the lesson. This is much easier if the student brings a partner or just works on freestyle moves. Also, we are indoors, but if a student prefers, I hav...e an outdoor space available or I can leave the door open and fans on. What is the alternative? Change careers or don't work? I tried virtual dance lessons in the spring and they are not comparable in quality. I admit that I feel guilty returning to work because my job isn't exactly "essential". I think we are all just doing the best we can given the circumstances. See more
