Way to go, Mechanical Dolphins! We're proud of your teamwork and all of the hard work you put into this season. Spring Showdown was a blast - with all 3 teams in the top 10 in the robot games, and the Green Gators earned a trophy for their On The Spot alliance round! Congratulations, everyone!

After a lot of hard work, fun, and learning over the past 2 months, the Dailard Mechanical Dolphins Blue Bots (# 20358), Red Vines (# 28375), and Green Gators (#34264) are excited for the FLL Spring Showdown at LEGOLAND on Saturday! What a great event! Thank you, Henry Cluster STEMM Foundation and San Carlos Library for hosting the annual Robotics Showcase on Saturday. The Mechanical Dolphins were happy to speak with new friends who were interested in hearing about the FLL program, and also to check out the other cool projects in the works by teams from elementary to university levels, and beyond!

There are Mechanical Dolphins competing at FLL Qualifier Tournaments at this weekend! Saturday: Robo Owls (team #20358) Sunday: Robotic Bunnies (team #28375)... These are free events, and all are welcome to come and watch the robot games portion of the competition. We'd love your support! First match at 11am, location is High Tech High Mesa, 5331 Mt Alifan Dr, 92111 These kids have learned so much this season, and they've been working for months to prepare. Have fun, everyone! Way to go, Mechanical Dolphins team LEGO Pandas! These kids put in a ton of hard work, and today they were selected to advance to the next round of competition at LEGOLAND in December! Wooo! Great job, team! The two other Mechanical Dolphins teams compete next weekend, 11/9 & 11/10 at High Tech High Mesa. Good luck, Robo Owls and Robotic Bunnies!

The Dailard Mechanical Dolphins team LEGO Pandas is competing Saturday 11/2 at Eastlake High School in Chula Vista! Everyone's welcome at this public event. Best of luck to the LEGO Pandas, and to all of the other teams competing around town at QT events this weekend! Have fun, everyone!

Our 3 teams are busy, busy, busy! They're finalizing programming for the robot game, and they're also researching and writing their Innovation Projects and presentations for this year's City Shaper theme. Team projects include the topics of playground accessibility, wildlife safety, and food waste. Come learn more about their projects at the Dailard Fall Fest this Saturday from 3:30-6:30pm!
