SEPTEMBER 19 Art Take in SEPTEMBER 20 Virtual show and art pick up

Our autumn show 2020 will be different this year due to the Covid situation. This year we will have a virtual show. Videos and photos will be posted on the City of Cypress website as well as on Facebook and the Cypress Art League website. You may bring your artwork to the Cypress Community Center on Saturday, September 19 from 9 AM until 1 PM. Masks and social distancing are required with no exceptions. The art will be judged and awards attached to the pieces. You will b...e given a time to pick up your entries on Sunday, September 20. Masks and social distancing required at pick up also. More information can be found on the entry form posted below. We hope you will join us in this new approach to an art show. On JUNE 4, 2020 we have been given permission to go into the Gallery to remove the Pencil Painting Exhibit. Only Bob Meyer and Pat Edep will be allowed in the Gallery itself to take down the pieces from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. The pieces will be taken to the front patio area for the artists to retrieve their works. Tape will be placed in this area so we can comply with social distancing. Ruth Arthur will be there to help in claiming the art. After the 12:00 noon deadline,... Ruth Arthur will take remaining pieces home and you will have to make arrangements with her to pick them up. We apologize for this inconvenience, but during these complicated times, this is our only option right now for getting the work back to it owners.
