(John 11:25-26) We will all die. Our heart will stop to beat. Our breath will be extinguished. Our body will rot. We will die... but only physically. That is, if we believe in Jesus Christ. ... Because if we believe in Jesus Christ, He not only lives in us, He also makes us alive. So even though our body dies, our soul will notwill neverthroughout all eternity. This is our blessed hope.

OCTOBER: One in Christ’s BODY But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body. (1 Corinthians 12:18-20) Each of us is unique, fulfilling different roles and responsibilities inside the church: some are called to be pastors and some to be workers, others to be in the frontline while others, in the background.... But our different roles need not divide us. In fact, our different roles complete the whole picture. Without one, we would not be one... we would not be whole. So let us complement each other, work with each other, support one another. Because, ultimately, as part of God’s church, we must be one not just in Christ but, also, with one another.
