I have done countless tributes to Hero’s throughout my CrossFit journey and I have deeply honored every one of them. However, to plan and perform my best friends Hero WOD/Fundraising event, at the gym we built together, next to his amazing wife and two incredible daughters, was beyond the most difficult and rewarding experience I have ever had in my lifetime! Thank you to everyone who came to @cyngymcrossfit on Labor Day to support Mike’s family and to honor him. This is my grandson Ethan Michael Fix. He is named after Mike...he loved Mikey so much! His favorite things were watching and working out with Mike, playing collar clamp and rib splitter with him, big huge long hugs on bbq Saturday’s and helping Mike clean and fix everything.
