CyberHawks 7983

VEX released a bunch of new sensors and we would love to purchase some of them for students to use on their robots. We're also applying for a grant from Toshiba to get some more parts as well. We don't have as many fundraising opportunities this year without being able to host multiple events.

We were quite excited to watch the game reveal this morning. Congrats to teams 7983F and BHS team 424W for winning today's end-of-season tournament and earning spots to State!

We'll be a bigger part of the event on May 2nd, but our CHS academic teams have had an amazing year and could use your support. Tickets need to be purchased by tomorrow (info on the image)

Great day today at Cal Poly. CyberHawks teams were ranked #1,3,6, and 41. W was able to win the tournament with 920D from SLObotics and earned the excellence award. R made it to the finals and J made it to semifinals (both losing to W). Our D team struggled with alliance partners and some aggressive defense but look to bounce back with teams F, S, and Z at the Kern Robotics Invitational on 2/8

Congrats to all 4 of our teams for making the playoffs at the Streets of Bakersfield Robotics Extravaganza, and to 7983T for winning the Design award! They are now double qualified for state.
