COVID-19 Update: *information is the same below and in the photos* A lot has happened this week and we know things are changing rapidly. We exist to serve our community, and we value our community’s emotional, physical and physiological health. At this time, we will remain open as a place where we can continue to meet, support each other, and work. In order to make this a safe place to gather, we will be cleansing surfaces like doorknobs and table tops every hour, keep han...d sanitizer at the front door and we will be using recyclable to-go cups to minimize contact between individuals. Let’s use this as an opportunity to better serve each other and work together as a community to care for our at risk and heavily affected members. We are watching the situation carefully. Be mindful of the fact that we may have to close if new capacity regulations are set into motion. In the meantime: - please practice social distancing (we have the space so please spread out) -practice grace and patience (we’re all doing our best) -practice community! (We will be here to serve you as long as we can! Let’s show some extra love toward each other during this time of unknowns, especially those of our friends and neighbors who are in an at-risk population group. ) We also acknowledge that anxiety is real, and that anyone can be nervous during times like these. We compiled some tips that were using ourselves to preserve our mental health: -Avoid making statements (even to yourself!) regarding potential scenarios or catastrophes: this can increase anxiety. Take things a moment at a time. -Talk to someone about your feelings: acknowledge and discuss any anger, sorrow, and fear you might have. -Don’t hold yourself responsible for anything you might have done, or for not being able to do more. -Take charge of your emotional health by making time to relax, eat healthy, exercise and pray. - Remember we’re all in this together, even if we can’t be in the same room. As a reminder we will be CLOSED Sunday - but reopening Monday at our normal times (7am-7pm)
