Connie Horton, A licensed psychologist, provides for and responds to student needs as Pepperdine's Vice President for Student Affairs. One of Connie’s accomplishments as vice president include initiating the Resilience-Informed Skills Education program, a resource to assist students develop their resilience skills, care for themselves and their peers in times of need, and reinforce their ability to bounce back from life's challenges. Connie and her husband, Tim, are members at the Conejo Church of Christ.

This wonderful man has gone on to glory. "Dr. O" you made a tremendous difference in my life and the lives of so many others. I will miss you.

We are delighted to have Stanley Talbert as our guest speaker this Sunday, June 21st. Stanley is a Visiting Professor of Religion at Pepperdine University and the Interim Minister for the Normandie Church of Christ in Los Angeles. Stanley is a scholar, minister, and organizer. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York, where he studies Systematic Theology (Black Liberation Theology) and African American Studies. His dissertation..., Playing in a Strange Land: A Revolutionary Theology of Play examines the relation between social movements, theology, and sport. Stanley’s message is "Cries from the Cross".
