This week we remember the Stonewall Uprising which began on June 28, 1969 on Christopher Street, in Greenwich Village, New York City. The month of June, is recognized around the world, by the LGBTQIA+ community and it's allies as #PrideMonth. This year due to social distancing and safety measures, Pride celebrations are being celebrated in new and creative ways. As found on Pride Source, the documentary "Gay and Proud," contains footage of one of the earliest Gay Pride demo...nstrations, the first Christopher Street Liberation Day Parade, which was held in New York City a year after the Stonewall Uprising on June 28, 1970.
