15 month-Well child care visit.
We are still open to take care of our pediatric patients. We are providing limited well-child visits with priority to our newborns, infants and children through 24 months of age. Sick visits are mainly seen through Telehealth services but if you need to be seen we are staggering appointments to keep everyone safe. We will keep you updated as CDC is providing guidance. #ingrowntoenailremoval #everyonestaysafe #wewillovercomeCovid
Let’s keep our children safe. Staying home and physical distancing is still the best treatment to protect your family.
Let’s flatten the curve. The best treatment is staying home and preventing the spread.
With virtual learning opportunities and video chats with family, children are going to be on screens more during #COVID19. As families navigate #QuarantineLife, here are some tips for family media use, including how to use social media for good!
So whats my take on the Coronavirus pandemic. I’m not one to post medical advice but I feel COVID-19 should not be taken lightly. It’s an RNA virus in the same subgenus of (SARS) and (MERS) and highly contagious 10x more than the flu. It appears that bats are the primary source due it’s similarities of the RNA virus. Whether COVID-19 is transmitted directly from bats or some intermediate host is unknown. We all need to do our part to flatten the curve and prevent further spr...ead before our current situation becomes worse. Our hospitals infrastructure won’t be able to manage so many sick people and we won’t have enough ventilators to manage those people who will be ventilator dependent. I know people are over saturated with COVID-19 but let’s take care of our families, friends, neighbors and our elderly population. Our elderly population and people with chronic illnesses such as Diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, chronic lung disease, cancer and immunodeficiencies are more vulnerable and have a higher mortality. Viral pneumonia appears to be the most serious complication associated with fever, cough, fatigue and shortness of breath. This is an example of a chest CT Scan of a patient with Coronavirus. Let’s take action and follow all necessary measures recommended by the CDC and local public health department to flatten the curve. #handwashingsocialdistancingcoveryourcoughavoidtouchingfaceandsurfacesanddisinfectingsurfaces See more
