And...do you want to take classes that will train you how to do procedures? Then take one of our Dental Specialty Courses! Butte County CTE offers a variety of Dental Specialty Courses throughout through its school of ROP. These board-approved courses are a combination of lecture, laboratory and clinical patient ses...sions designed specifically for dental auxiliaries. Courses Offered: - Infection Control / DPA - Dental Radiation Safety - Coronal Polish - Pit & Fissure Sealant Classes take place on the weekend and range from single day sessions to multiple class days. Participants must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Registrants must hold a CPR/BLS certificate (other certificates may be required; see course descriptions on our website for more details). Our Medical Assistant program is in full swing! Our amazing instructor, Kelli Owens, is leading a new cohort of students through everything they'll need to know to be successful medical assistants.
