CSUSB painting & drawing instructor, Keaton Macon, is also in an exhibition about precarity at Woodbury University, titled "TEETERED". The show is taking place in real-time, and features a very beautiful limited-run Risograph publication/"care package" which includes a timely essay by Allison Noelle Conner. CSUSB painting & drawing instructor, Keaton Macon, is showing work in "Archive Machines", a solely online show at Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery. It is an awesome survey of SoCal artists interested in the how we deal with shifting and living histories and memories. They've even created a reader/art educational workshop to further illuminate Keaton's project and works by some of the other artists. It has been extended and now runs until November. California State University San Bernardino’s Master of Fine Art students are launching the KIND ART COLLECTIVE The Kind Art Collective believes that creativity can help build resilience and human connection. KAC offers small and thoughtful art projects to the local community to cultivate inclusion, inspiration and imagination. Join them online to create free, easy, and fun art experiences that will promote kindness and unity.... Responding to the growing need for creativity in these socially isolated times, the Kind Art Collective is a group of studio art graduate students who are offering free art supply kits along with step-by-step instructions to accompany online art classes on Zoom. Once projects are completed, participants will share their projects on Instagram @kindartcollective. The intention is to create a collective art making community from the comfort and safety of their own homes or gathering places. These online art engagements are designed for all ages to ignite creativity, reflection and optimism. Packed with purpose, KAC projects aim to bring people together virtually through art making by setting a collective intention that will spark unity and hope. The first project will be shared with the Boys and Girls Club in San Bernardino and Rialto locations, with plans to expand to the CSUSB student community and other community groups in need. If you wish to offer your support or ask us a question, please contact us: [email protected] Follow the Kind Art Collective on Instagram @kindartcollective

Despite the challenges of an online ceramics class, students are still able to create amazing work virtually. This vase was designed by Caleb Northway and printed on campus by the Ceramic Studio Technician Matthew Dickerson. This vase shows that creativity can still be realized in the ceramic studio even if students are working from home. The Department of Art & Design at CSUSB is always striving to best serve students whether virtually online or in person on campus. #clay #...ceramics #CSUSB #csusbart #ie #3dprinting #3dprintedclay You can follow Caleb Northway at @caleb_northaway @cn_ceramics You can follow Matthew Dickerson at @Radimvice @csusbceramics
