Associated Students collaborated with Matadors because right now, your Armenian classmates, professors, neighbors, and peers need your help. You may not know, but outside of Armenia itself, CSUN has the largest Armenian university student population. Right now, Armenia is under attack. Currently, Azerbaijan, with the support of Turkey, has waged war on Armenia, with hopes to "win back Artsakh," a land that has been considered a part of Armenia for as far back as the 4th centu...ry, a land that has an Armenian President and 95% Armenian residence. Right now, if Azerbaijan and Turkey put down their weapons, there will be peace. However, if Armenia puts down their weapons, there will be another Genocide. This is a strategic plan made by the Turkish government to finish the Genocide. The President of Turkey, Erdogan, has stated, "We will finish what our ancestors started" as America continues to fund Azerbaijan, enabling them to buy weapons to carry out these unprovoked attacks on Artsakh and Armenia. What makes us so proud to be at CSUN is our drive for inclusion. It brings us pride to know that we are on a campus fighting against any act of injustice. We are hoping that as a community, we can extend this to our Armenian Matadors. What we ask of you is for your attention. What we ask of you is to help us spread awareness before it is too late...

Associated Students is conducting a survey to help ensure clubs on campus continue to be successful in the virtual environment. By sharing your concerns, AS can assess common issues affecting all student organizations and more effectively support your communities. PARENTS: AS is offering a distance learning opportunity for your preschool age child by providing weekly child-parent activities and interactive Zoom meetings 5 days a week for half an hour. Teachers will be providing fun and engaging, art, music, movement, literacy, language, math and science activities.
