Hello CSULB students, A new plus or minus grading policy has been proposed at Long Beach State University (LBSU). According to representatives in Associated Students Government, LBSU is one of two California State Universities that has not adopted the new system. Currently, the Curriculum and Educational Policies Council (CEPC) has the grading policy open for review with the recommendation to consider plus or minus grading. Hello COE students, next week there will be a workshop on working in Manufacturing Engineering with the production supervisor at Reyes Coca Cola Bottling. He will be discussing the work environment within manufacturing engineering, what the day to day routine look like, what the duties consist of, and what challenges and positives are. Tuesday, May 5th, OPD&I will be having representatives from Accenture, a Fortune Global 500 company, hosting a workshop titled "A Day in the Life of Technology Consultants". They will also be discussing their Spring Pilot Program, which is a program designed to select qualified candidates for summer interns and full-time employees that will start in June 2021. This program is open to current sophomores and juniors. We strongly encourage you to attend this workshop to learn ab...out how it's like to work for this organization, especially if you are interested in their Spring Pilot Program.
