Congratulations to our Cohort 9 students. Gillian Chatfelter(left) received the William J."Pete" Knight Excellence in Aerospace Scholarship and Leticia Pantoja received the C. Gordon Fullerton Memorial Scholarship on Saturday night at the Gathering of Eagles. We are very proud of these young women who will no doubt achieve their career dreams in the Aerospace industry.

AVEP hosted the Student Chapter of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) at Lancaster University Center (LUC) on March 7, 2019. Guest speakers were Jason Lechniak from NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center and Mike Peterson from Northrop Grumman. CSULB AVEP was represented at SOAR High School in Lancaster, CA on Friday 2/22/19. SOAR (Students on the Academic Rise) High School located on the Antelope Valley College campus and part of the Antelope Valley Joint Union High School District. SOAR is an early college high school with an emphasis on math, science and engineering. CSULB AVEP is proud to announce that Michael Kidman received scholarship award from Southern California Edison, Antelope Valley. Scholarship opportunities facilitated by the College of Engineering office of Development and the Division of Student Affairs. Michael transferred to AVEP from Antelope Valley College majoring in Mechanical Engineering who also has an internship at Edwards’s Air Force base working in aircraft structural test and analysis. Application period for admission is still open for CSULB Antelope Valley Engineering Program (AVEP). CSULB College of Engineering operates the AVEP which offers two degree programs: the B.S. in Mechanical Engineering - Antelope Valley and the B.S. in Electrical Engineering - Antelope Valley. Both degrees are awarded by the CSULB College of Engineering and accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. All classes take place, in person, at the Lancaster Univer...sity Center in Lancaster, CA. Remember that admissions will be performed on a rolling basis beginning shortly after the priority transcript deadline.
