For our friends and followers who are Chico State Students, faculty, or recent alumni, I have a project we'd love your help with. Two of our fifth semester nursing students are working directly with Butte County Public Health Department in efforts to address the COVID-19 concern that has impacted our community. We are working together to create a video ad campaign that speaks to each of our experiences, worries, and the individuality of how we are affected by the pandemic. T...his campaign will reflect the real experiences of real people in our community; how the pandemic has or hasn’t affected you, how your life has changed, and overall how you’re handling the new state of the world. Hello fellow nursing students! As many of you have experienced, this semester has had a rocky start. While we each have our own challenges and goals, remember we're in this together! To offer a return to normalcy, let's kick off September with a CNSA meeting. We'll be hearing from a labor and delivery nurse from UC San Diego. CNSA is having a meeting this Thursday October 18th from 6:30-8:00 pm in BMU 312. We have gotten some awesome Flight Nurses to come speak at our meeting and answer any questions you may have about their careers in nursing. Also snacks will be provided! Hope to see you there!
